Q. Why should I buy your books?

A. If you have too much to do, and too little time, then our books are for you.

You will truly appreciate how much time these books can save you. We offer quick, easy access to the important information your are looking for, and we provide it when you need to know it.

Q. Are your books as good as you claim them to be?

A. You be the judge. We have received numerous book requests from pilots who used the order form included in previously sold books. This indicates to us, acceptance of the books and a willingness of the buyer to share this information with friends and other pilots. Be sure to read our testimonials page!



Q. Why are your books wire bound?

A. For your convenience. They lay flat for easy, hands-free reference.



Q. Are there shipping charges for book delivery?

A. Yes. We charge $2.00 per book for shipping and handling.

However -- if you order five (5) books, or more, we offer FREE shipping.

And, yes, you may mix titles to meet the five (5) book minimum to receive free shipping.



Q. I'd like to place a large order. But your $2.00 per book shipping charge seems excessive. What can you do for me?

A. Order five (5) books or more and you will receive FREE shipping.

Q. How do I order my books?

A. Simply click any of the books "BUY" or "ADD TO BASKET" buttons located throughout the website.  You can view your online shopping basket, located near the top right of every page.  When you are ready to check out, View the cart and follow the instructions.

Credit card orders by VISA or Master Card are also welcome by telephone at 570-435-5349. Please call between 9AM and 2PM, Mon-Fri, Eastern Time.  If no answer, please leave a message and your telephone number.



Q. Do you accept credit cards through online ordering?

A. Most certainly. However, we accept VISA and MASTER CARD only.

Or, if you prefer, simply pick up the telephone and call 570-435-5349. Please call between 9AM and 2PM, Mon-Fri, Eastern Time. If no answer, please leave a message and your telephone number.


 
Q. After I order, how soon can I expect delivery of my books?

A. After receiving your order, we make every attempt to ship your books within two (2) to three (3) business days. However, due to possible ordering backlogs, please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery. This extended time delay would be extremely rare, if ever.


 
Q. How are my books shipped?

A. We typically ship by United States Postal Service Media Mail to minimize your shipping costs.



Q. Do you accept foreign orders?

A. Generally, we do not because our flat rate shipping charge is for the domestic U.S. only.  However, if you are willing to pay for the extra cost of international postage we will be happy to accept your order.  Before we ship your books, we will send you an email with your total cost of shipping charges so you can approve the amount by email.

Q. Can I call so you can answer my questions or take my order?

We will call you as soon as possible.  We regret, however, that we cannot place telephone calls outside of the Domestic U.S.

 


 
Q. Can I return any books, if I am not satisfied with them?

A. Absolutely! If you are not happy, we are not happy.

If you are dissatisfied in any way, whatsoever, simply return your book for a complete refund -- no questions asked.

Please be sure to include your receipt so we may forward your refund to you.  Shipping and handling charges are not refundable, however.



Q. Are the books featured on this website available in bookstores or pilot shops?

A. A number of pilot shops and flight schools located throughout the country do offer our books.  But, of course, you may buy directly from us.

Q. Do you have a list of defined contractions for NOTAMs and METARs and TAFs?

A. Yes! We offer a free list of over 690 defined NOTAM and METAR & TAF contractions. Click on the menu buttons located on our Home Page to view the contractions. Please print them out for your use when self weather briefing.
